Kids of the Community

Kids of the Community is a community based, entirely volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the ideal that all the children in our community have the right to be important, the right to be recognized, and the right to learn fundamental core values from responsible adults. It is the philosophy of the organization that one on one contact on regular basis in structured activities with such caring responsible adults can instill direction and impart a posititve attitude to those children at risk. Some things you might help with are:   spending one on one time with the kids doing activities such as:  mentoring, tutoring, cooking, gardening, art, music.  Donations of useful items that will assist our program are always welcome.   In the summer we are open all day, in the school year we are open after school and on Saturdays. Tutoring is after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-6-pm.  We need as much time, or as little time as you can spare.  We need you!… Your time, talent and treasure!

Helping Animals of Warren County (HAWC

Helping Animals of Warren County (HAWC) was founded in October, 2015 by a small group of concerned citizens that wanted to improve the lives of animals in Warren County. We wanted to provide those that were already focused on helping the animal shelters and rescue groups with a source of fund raising and volunteers to help them in their efforts. We welcome and invite all those in Warren County who wish to increase awareness of the importance of spay/neuter, support for our local shelters and rescue groups and who want to advocate for the betterment of the treatment of animals to join our group.
