Our youth group consists of students in 5th -12th grade and Bruce Watson is leading this group. The group has other activities in addition to the Sunday school class period. The youth attend conferences, christian concerts, partner in mission work with Mountain T.O.P., and have various outings throughout the year.
Youth are focused on learning to walk with Christ in their everyday lives. The group is learning lessons through the scriptures and weekly group discussions. Join the youth for "Tell Me Your Story " at FUMC beginning on October 27th. Our program will begin that day in the CCC building at 9:30am with "Who Are You?," meaning the church. Through this series of meetings it is my hope and belief that you and I and the other adult volunteers participating in the program will come to have a better, fuller relationship with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ as well as a better understanding of His church, His kingdom and our place in it.
Our ultimate goal is to create a safe environment for all youth to know they belong and feel welcomed, loved and accepted.
The youth meet in the Christian Community Center Building located on campus between the Historic and Outreach Building.
